From an automation script to a global platform
MailToData wasn't born in a boardroom, but from the real frustration of engineers tired of maintaining fragile data extraction scripts. What began as an internal tool to automate email and document processing at ARANOVA soon revealed a universal problem: every company was reinventing the wheel with custom parsers that constantly broke.
Instead of building yet another rigid template SaaS, we decided to do something different: a platform where engineers could run their own extraction code in a secure, scalable environment. Without giving up control, without endless maintenance.
That's how MailToData was born: the programmable data extraction platform that combines the flexibility of custom code with the robustness of enterprise infrastructure. Secure Firecracker sandbox, developer-designed RESTful API, and transparent usage-based pricing.
Today, MailToData processes millions of documents per month for engineering teams across Europe. And it all started with a simple question: why do I have to choose between control and maintenance?
